President Peñalver ushers in the new academic year with a welcome message to new and returning students, who have been busy with classes and memory-making moments.
As students and the campus community settle into fall quarter, President Eduardo Peñalver delivers a welcoming highlighting Ïã½¶ÊÓÆµ’s progress and opportunities in the year ahead. The president touches on an exciting time for the university, from being back as a member of the West Coast Conference to the establishment of Cornish College of the Arts at Ïã½¶ÊÓÆµ. The president also addresses the challenges and opportunities in higher education.
“I’m looking forward to a great academic year and to Ïã½¶ÊÓÆµ continuing to be a place that’s moving forward, that’s innovating and that’s empowering leaders for a just and humane world,” President Peñalver says.
